So for years, I've been making ruffles the "old fashioned" way. By running two basting stitches down the length of the fabric to be ruffled, and then tediously pulling the thread until the desired ruffle is achieved. BUT, that takes SO much time. So, I decided to splurge on myself and purchase a Ruffler Foot Attachment for my Viking-Husqvarna Scandinavia Sewing machine. I am in love. This ruffler makes the most beautiful ruffles in seconds vs. hours! I am thrilled to say the least. Here's what the contraption looks like. Looks like it could eat you for lunch, right? Well, it's not really so scary once you figure it out. I will post a how-to video later with this bad boy in action!
