I will try anything (ONCE!) ...well almost

The reversable apron.
Let's just say that this was quite a project.
It's one of a kind and it's the ONLY one I ever will make...
unless you are willing to PAY big bucks!
but had to share it because it's cute as a button!
Thankfully it was for someone very special to me....my sister!

Bags

Yes I still make bags!

Here is one of my more recent bags...It is SOOOO cute!
I'm Loving the "K" on the front...this is all hand made from scratch!
It is a large tote with long straps,
it has 6 interior pockets and is sturdy enough to stand on it's own...
It has been lined with interfacing and stabalizer and is sewn with a serger for extra stability and wearablilty.
The top is top stitched and the straps are reinforced with triple stitching so they last.
Inside is my cute little tag that I'm very proud of becasue I just got these finally!
Please let me know how you like this bag....Thanks!

Aprons

So one of my old friends from HS found me and ordered some aprons for Christmas for her Italian Grandparents
who've been married for 67 years!! Isn't that the sweetest thing ever? We used Italian colors for the lettering (which also ended up being Christmas colors) so it was a win-win!! They turned out really cute and I can't wait to hear how they liked them!
The chef's hat was really cute...and notice on the Grandma's she got matching ruffles to make hers more girlie!

Notice how the apron strings are adjustable through the sides...so it's one very long string...this is my favorite and most comfortable type of apron!!

Matching aprons for Grandma & Grandpa side by side..Notice the ruffles on Grandma's apron!

I just think these are SO cute!

Here's another view

This one (below) was for someone else, and I love this font!

the name on another apron...

Here they are all wrapped up ready to give away!

Teacher Gifts

So this year, I had some fun with my embroidery machine and my new applique designs....
I bought the oh so soft throw blankets from (uh hem, yes, Walmart...yea, I know...) but they were only about $5 and I couldn't resist...
So, I added these cute designs and what a nice gift they made!
What do you think?
Since this blog thing is NEW NEW NEW, I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE some comments....and some new blog readers..
So if you like this please say so, and please subscribe or "follow" my blog and share it!! Thanks!
